This sampler is a tribute to the famous Glasgow architect, artist and designer Charles Rennie Mackintosh. The sampler reflects Mackintosh's unique style with its mystic overtones, elongated figures and the omnipresent rose, which was born out of the fusion of talent and ideas of the Glasgow School of Art and the Viennese Jugendstil movement. It also depicts some of his splendid architectural achievements such as The Willow Tea Room, The Hill House and the Art Lover's House.
