This
sampler is dedicated to the artist, gardener and craftswoman,
Gertrude Jekyll. Although a very talented artist and writer, she
is perhaps best known for the some 300 gardens she designed for
the architect, Edwin Lutven, who designed Gertrude’s own home,
Mustead Wood.
This sampler is a tribute her love of the countryside and
her wonderful appreciation of colour and design.
Finished
