Whisky
-
or to give it its Gaelic name ‘uisge beatha’ (water of life)
– has been produced in Scotland for many centuries.
This sampler depicts a distillery that manufactures the
‘highland nectar’.
The awe-inspiring distilleries that lie nestled in the
glens of Speyside, Perthshire and the islands are an integral
part of Scotland’s story.
The sampler features a ‘barley’ border, copper stills
and a quote from Robert Burns – not only a man who enjoyed his
whisky, but also an excise man by profession.
Included with the kit is a design package to allow you to alter
the wording on the sampler to feature your own favourite
whiskies.
It's an embroidery that makes a great gift for
someone with a passion for this special drink and it's heritage.
Finished size is
30cm x 25cm (12” x 10”).
