Our kits are assembled by hand with lots of care being given to the presentation and quality of the package.

Thread:           Our kits are supplied with Madeira threads. We find the presentation of their 5m cards of stranded cotton a very important part of our kit presentation and ease of use. Each kit is supplied with more than ample quantities of thread and a  useful thread sorter.

Fabric:              Zweigart are our fabric manufacturers. Like Madeira, they are a company renowned the world over for their superb quality. You will see the fabric information beside each design detail.

14 count aida			The majority of our kits are stitched on 14 count aida. ie: 14 stitches to the inch (2.5cm). It is a "block" weave fabric and easy to stitch.
28 count evenweave			The National Gallery Collection is also currently  available on evenweave fabric. This cross-stitch is worked over 2 threads and is 28 threads to the inch - making the stitching the same finished size as 14 count aida.

Needle:            Our needles are gold. Stitching a lovely embroidery qualifies us all to use lovely equipment!

Chart:              Cobweb Designs is well known for excellent charts. They are very clear and easy to read. Being larger in size to the finished embroidery they give the embroiderer the clearest and easiest pattern to work from.

Instructions:     With over 20 years experience in teaching, the information we give is really excellent and suitable to beginners to counted cross-stitch. All kits come with clear wording, good diagrams and translated into French, German, Italian and Spanish.

Print:                Each kit has a colour print of the finished embroidery.

Historical Information:   Included with each kit is information and details explaining the history of the subject and the inspiration behind the embroidery design.
